In Italy
I am organising a week-long retreat in Chianti, Tuscany, where I grew up. My partner, Niccolò, a chef, will source local ingredients and cook delicious meals. Mornings will begin with a short meditation and longer yoga sessions, and afternoons will offer painting sessions, art workshop and opportunities to explore. Evenings will entail a mellow flow, followed by aperitivo-time festivities. The focus will be on the beauty of moderation— working on body, breath and mind, whilst allowing ourselves to have fun, ‘live the life’ and engage the 5 senses.
In the UK
The UK retreat will take place over a long-weekend in the english countryside, a sanctuary to re-integrate oneself, away from the hustle-bustle of city work life. The focus will be ‘active recovery’—growing one’s personal practice and reaping the energising benefits of yoga and the great outdoors. One can look forward to luxurious and incredibly cosy rooms, powerful yoga sessions, walking meditations, watercolour workshops and deliciously healthy meals from local ingredients. The goal is to develop the tools to slow down, be present, and re-connect to your body, your inner self and deepest values.
